To better understand FreedomHouse, we must begin with our definition of discipling. The name “FreedomHouse” comes from FreedomMinistry International, a discipling ministry designed to turn “ordinary Christians into ministering Leaders.” The discipling strategy of FreedomHouse fits into a framework of apostolic ministry. We are an apostolic resource center that also houses an Ecclesia, FreedomHouse.
In many ways, FreedomHouse looks and sounds like a growing, vibrant, Spirit-filled church because our strategic events all maintain the same fervor of Awakening Revival that Ruthanne and I and the leaders of the ministry have experienced. Behind those public forums, a very specific and personal strategy for discipling is at work that takes every person where he is to where he needs to be to fulfill His God-given destiny.
Ruthanne and I were radically transformed in revolutionary revival at the Brownsville revival. We didn’t start a church. Ecclesia happened!
